Akos Feher: Vice President of Operations
Feher rejoined Shelby American in May 2014 to head up the Shelby Performance Parts division. An experienced engineer, he previously served as the Director of Production and Strategic Planning at Shelby American between 2006 and 2008, when the company was building both pre-title and post-title vehicles. He also helped create Shelby Performance Parts and Team Shelby. Feher has extensive experience with international automotive projects.
As vice president of operations, Feher oversees all current Shelby vehicle production at the Las Vegas facility and the Shelby Performance Parts division. He also heads up the company’s warehouse, supply chain and paint facility. In addition, Feher directs all R&D as he works directly with Ford Motor Company and Ford Racing on new vehicles.
An avid car buff, Feher races high performance motorcycles in his free time. His passion for speed includes four wheel vehicles, giving him the unique opportunity to combine the best aspects of both industries.
Feher has an MBA from the University of Southern California along with a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of California San Diego. He brings extensive experience in retail marketing and expertise in small volume manufacturing. Feher has worked for high profile companies such as Nokia, Siemens, Mattel, Fisker and DRS Industries. With his experience in the automotive, aerospace and consumer products industries, Feher’s intimate understanding of performance and engineering prowess help keep the Shelby brand in the fast lane.
