A tree decided it needed to block my path going home Tues night during a storm a couple blocks from the house. Good thing I was in the Explorer and didn't pick the Mustang up from the shop. Rain, extremely dark, didn't see tree until last second, and I was only doing 30. No way to stop, so I just aimed for the top of the tree and hoped for smaller branches. Yanked off the wipers, which made it even more interesting that last couple blocks. I retrieved the wipers from the rubble pile Wed morning, and found a headlight piece and other plastic bits, so it got someone else worse than me. The wiper arms didn't look right, so I went to Ford to get the parts to attach the blades, and while there they saw scratches and dents and dings on the hood and roof, and the lower grill part was knocked loose, so it'll be going back for some fixin'. Passenger side wiper arm was bent, but otherwise they were fine. I hadn't changed the wipers on it yet, so I didn't realize how they went on, but it's good that I did cuz I didn't see the grill being loose (didn't look that low) and even tho the dents are pretty minor, might as well get them taken care of while they do the rest. So now there's been a deer and a tree in places they aren't supposed to be. Anything else coming?

We've still got time for more hurricanes this year, and the Greek alphabet has plenty of names to contribute, so don't be surprised...

If a hurricane makes it up here, then I can say I've seen everything.

I wonder when the 2021 package will be coming out and what will be in it.

No ....they found their way back but aren't interested anymore . Just to much bickering back and forth. If someone talks about their experience they get criticism or envy. So sorry to say they are history including me. I haven't posted much over the years but have just been an observer of this place for many years.

Hey lobby, how's it going. A lovely little snow this morning, looks like 2 inches or so on the deck. But it will be in the 40s later, so it will all be gone by the time I get home. And only rain later and part of tomorrow, so there won't be any major travel issues for my mom and sister coming over tomorrow for turkey day. A little wet, but nothing bad. And sunny and 40s til next week. Back to typical Nov weather.Happy Thanksgiving y'all.

Down here in the deep south, it's going to get really wet in about three or four hours, and then chill down for next week. I hope those here have a good, and more importantly safe, Thanksgiving weekend.

Hope y'all had a good Thanksgiving and didn't overstuff yourself or the bird. I've got plenty of leftover turkey for a couple weeks of sandwiches. So I'll be making some really nice turkey, bacon, swiss on grilled sourdough sandwiches for a while. But I love those sandwiches, so it's all good.

Got a couple orders yesterday. I ordered the 2020 Foundation ornament, and took advantage of the Black Friday sale to order a Team Shelby metal sign. I also ordered the felt banner, but haven't gotten it yet. New stuff for walls is a good thing.

I ordered six 2021 ornaments for self and other Shelby owners. With all these Shelby ornaments items from a umber o years, I might have to get a small dedicated Shelby Christmas tree for the decorations. I also got a number of cyber discount day items including the light boxes and personalized throw pillow.

Nice. Those light boxes look sweet, but I don't have any place for them. And I think you gave Shelby an idea for next year with that tree.

I don't remember if I posted this up last year, but this is worth revisiting. The best, coolest, most smile inducing tear jerking Christmas video EVER!

Happy Winter Solstice y'all. I'm picking up the Mustang from the detailer tomorrow. All pretty and ceramic coated.

Wow. The Mustang looks awesome. He did a really great job of getting the paint to really shine. He said he put 3 coats of ceramic on the trunk, roof, and hood, to better protect against the sun, and 2 coats on the rest. Clean-up will be a breeze now. I think he said he hand-sanded it 5 different times. Couldn't fix all the little blebs and things that were in the paint, but got a lot of issues fixed. Come on April 17.
