Also, is it just me or are there far fewer daily posts and discussions in all the threads?  It could be due to the cancellation of events this year, but there must be TS people doing a little traveling and using their SA toys, making midifications, coming up with tips about their rides and what is happening in their garages and collection rooms.

I would think the lack of activity here is related to the fact many people don't even know that the forum has moved and then when they do find their way here, it seems like we've gone back 20 years in time to an archaic forum lacking many features of the previous forum.

This is rather sad, Forums menu displays "Shelby Forums". Some may remember ShelbyForums.com, went there today, last entry was a month ago. That seems to be the way Team Shelby appears to be heading. I hope not, but certainly not what it was.

The Lobby sure got quiet. Would it help if I brought donuts? Or cookies?

In an ordinary year I'd be getting ready to go to Austin for convention this week, but, obviously that's changed. So I'm conventioning from home starting Thurs. Everything else is on hold, but the government still requires that continuing education nonsense. Saves the boss travel expenses this year.

Went to the last car show of the season Sat. Beautiful weather, sunny, upper 70s. Planning to put the Mustang in for a deep cleaning, detailing, paint correction, and hopefully ceramic coating in the next couple of weeks. Place in town down most excellent work.

Rock on, Lobby.

Donuts or cookies aren't going to help. Was going to put an emoticon in, but it looks like that's gone too. Pretty sad what's happened here.

For what they're doing, it's still a work in progress. Like the issues of rebuilding a major highway without closing it completely. I haven't missed emojis, haven't needed one, so I didn't even know they were gone.

All we can do is ask for patience. No one is pleased with how this is going but everyone is working to correct it. We apologize but hang in there please

Hey BB....... I took my Mustang to the Dealer yesterday to see about the Recalls.  All they have is one on the Brake Peddle and another one but nothing on the Automatic Transmission Clunking.  I can't find the thread that was started on it.  Do you have any info on this, may a TSB Number?

I cleaned the cookies off my computer, and now almost every topic is showing up as new. Makes for a good time. And it's weird, cuz it's never done that before. I run CCleaner about once a month or so, but this is the first time everything has gone back to the beginning.

Happy weekend y'all. I get to put some mulch in the yard. I guess it's supposed to be dry tomorrow. Did the final WinterGuard treatment down on Wed, and I'm hoping there isn't any more mowing to be done. And the Mustang was looked at Tues afternoon, and it will be getting a ceramic coating (and all the detail stuff leading up to it) in Dec. I haven't seen this guys ceramic work, but I've seen his paint correction and detailing on other cars in the club, and he's really, really good. The detailing includes interior and engine compartment, so it will be ready for the spring.

He quoted 1200 for full detail, paint correction, and ceramic.  And 2 weeks.  But it's also much smaller than a 250.  That's why I'm doing it in Dec and not waiting til spring.  As long as the roads are dry, I don't have a problem driving it.  It's been thru way worse in the almost 20 years it was my daily.  He gave me a brief explanation about how the ceramic is done, and it's a 2 day process because of the curing and 2nd coating.

Getting quoted that cheap then is a reason to avoid it to me then..  Likely they arent going to do everything correctly.  I know they said they had to do paint correction which would take most of the time...  I am just not knowledgeable enough about ceramic coating at this time.

I might be concerned if I hadn't seen lots of his work, but it's top-notch.  His estimates on his brochure for the paint correction and detailing (everything but the ceramic) are 400-900, so if I was in the middle of that, the ceramic doubled the cost.  I think he also works for UPS, so this is a side-job for him, so he doesn't have to charge an arm and a a leg.

I am sad to hear that Mark Marham passed away. I met him 3 times at events in the late 2010 era. Such a great guy. I came on here today to find some info on one of my "how to" threads. They ae all gone. This place has been gutted. Sad.

This place is all but dead. Where is mach 1 , BB, Mongoose and Keith. Tex and falcon are here I see. Breaking news mach 1 is back in another C8. Maybe we need another C8 section to bring some action to this place HAHA. Nope those guys won’t be back. They are still texting each other. They found another home it seems. Maybe if this forum gets its act together then they might try it one last time.

Keith got banned for life. Others who should have didn't.

Everyone else either couldn't find it here or came here and tried to navigate the site and left very frustrated.

Problems I reported months ago here have gone by the wayside.

Sad.....

I'm still around. The forum is still a work in progress. But at least the weather round these parts has been in the 70s for the last week. Which is gonna change tonight and the Cali fall weather goes away.
