Las Vegas Motor Speedway will have an open test session for NASCAR on Thursday 3/3 starting at 9:00AM and they are opening the stands free of charge for spectators who might like to observe.

Heads up: If you go to LVMS this week expect VERY LONG DELAYS! One station said two hours from the strip area.

always the negative comment...... I have been to the NASCAR race at LVMS numerous times and it has never taken me 2 hours, especially on Thursday

Shame on you two, you know negative comments are not welcome here by some insiders. I am sure there will be no problems with traffic anywhere you go during Bash, so let it spoken, so let it be done……... :)

Probably depends on when you go but it certainly has taken that long for me. But whatever. OK sure, any time during rush hour (morning or afternoon) and the drive will only take you 15 minutes.

 

I was only reporting what the local news stations are reporting. Don't shoot the messenger. Better to leave and arrive early than miss the opportunity.

 

I no longer take the freeway.

Actually not in Clark County as I recall. Parumph is in the next county over. (Confirmed, not in Clark County).

It is illegal in Clark county and Las Vegas. The snappers hand the cards anyways.

Visit Ellis Island Casino on Flamingo Blvd. east of Bally's. A great place for a meal at a great price. Parking structure behind is great and yesterday I parked out front at 4 pm. A great place to eat great and cheaply.

Steak special all the time, and a BBQ place that is fabulous in my opinion. Great prices bring all the locals and the casino is small but the food will help you deal with the traffic.

You can avoid the " Resort Fee" on the hotels by looking around. I found Arizona Charlie's on Boulder Hwy. does not have that tax. I use the freeway to get around because the local streets have so much traffic, but that's just me...

Cars and coffee sat am 8 to 10 at the mall with twin peaks restaurant eastern just south of serene. I215 and eastern
